Fogel-Anderson worked with Ronald McDonald House to renovate 15 long-term guest suites in their facility adjacent to Childrens Mercy Hospital in Kansas City. The facility is operated by the RMHC not-for-profit and provides temporary housing for families with children being treated at the nearby hospital. The length of stay can range from a few days to a few months, depending on the condition of the child. Families are offered the rooms free of charge. Because the apartments are in very high demand, Fogel-Anderson worked with RMH to pre-plan every activity so that once units were taken out of service, the updates could be completed and available for occupancy as soon as possible.
