Fogel-Anderson worked closely with Geiger and J. Price Architects to develop an office building in Kansas City, Kansas, that was built entirely out of concrete, in order to demonstrate the versatility of Geiger’s concrete products. This project highlighted the advantages and versatility of working with Fogel-Anderson as a CM at Risk. The Owner’s plans changed after the project had begun, which required tremendous collaboration among the Owner, Architect, Engineers, and Fogel-Anderson to manage the schedule, make quick decisions, and maintain a workable budget. The building is a working showcase for everything that can be built using concrete, including walls, floors, exterior facades, stairs, countertops, and other features. The project was the recipient of the 2018 award Excellence in Construction from the Mid-America Chapter of the Associated Builders & Contractors.
