The City of Edwardsville commissioned the Fogel-Anderson team to upgrade the City’s Municipal, Police, and Fire facilities in the heart of their downtown. This project will enhance both the working environment for city staff and the quality of services provided to Edwardsville residents.
The Fire Station is being renovated and expanded to provide new individual living quarters for the firefighters, who have been sleeping in an open bunkhouse. The expansion will also provide them a new common area kitchen where they cook their own meals. Other amenities will include a dining area, shared living room space, workout facilities, and meeting rooms.
The new 25,000 square foot Police and City Hall facility will consolidate two departments that have been working out of old, dilapidated structures that are well beyond repair.
